North Carolina -- Results are coming in from across the state for NC candidates running for the US House of Representatives.

Here are the results so far:

Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield has won a fifth term. Butterfield easily defeated Republican challenger Pete DiLauro in the 1st Congressional District, which was redrawn by Republicans to include more minorities and Democratic voters so the GOP could compete in other districts.

Former U.S. Attorney George Holding is heading to the U.S. House. The 44-year-old Republican won the 13th Congressional District seat Tuesday, flipping it from the Democrats.

U.S. Rep. Howard Coble has been elected to a 15th term in North Carolina's 6th Congressional District. The 81-year-old Republican had 60 percent of the vote in early and unofficial returns Tuesday to beat 63-year-old former Democratic state senator Tony Foriest.

Voters are returning Republican U.S. Rep. Walter Jones to the U.S. House. Jones won a 10th term Tuesday to represent North Carolina's 3rd District. Early, unofficial totals showed Jones had 60 percent of the vote to beat Democrat and former Marine Erik Anderson.
