Greensboro, NC -- The Greensboro Performing Arts Center Task Force is inviting residents to help out during the center's planning process.

The group will host a series of "Charette" public input sessions Oct. 16-18 in the lobby of the Elm Street Center at 203 S. Elm St. The sessions are meant to give the community a chance to work with GPAC's architects and designers to work on a vision for the performing arts center.

Here's more information on the three sessions:

Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6-9 p.m.

Sessions focused on Greensboro arts, suggested programming and uses, potential sites, building character and more.

Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

The public can review design boards and post ideas for the center. From 4-6 p.m., architects will review ideas shared in Tuesday's sessions.

Thursday, Oct. 18 from 9-11 a.m.

Review of the design concept and proposed location of the performing arts center.

The GPAC task force is responsible for coming up with possible designs and locations for the center, along with feasible financing options.
