Did you know that, under the North Carolina Standard of Care, the letter you recieve in the mail after a mammogram does not have to include information about breast density?  We didn't either!

That is why the city of Greensboro and the Commission on the Status of Women have started the Breast Density Program.

Gail Foy and Addy Jeffrey are spearheading the effort.  Addy Jeffret is a breast cancer survivor.  She and Gail stopped by the Good Morning Show to tell us what every woman needs to know about what doctors can or cannot report when it comes to lumps found in a woman's breast.

The ladies will also be speaking about the program at North Carolina State A&T University's 2nd Annual Pink Out Event.  That is happening this Friday, Ocotober 12th.  Come join in on the walk and rally!

The walk starts at 11:00 am from the Sebastian Health Center.  Then, meet at the foundation behind the memorial student union for the rally at 11:30 am.

And, don't forget to wear your pink!
