Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro Police made quick arrests in two separate violent crimes overnight on Friday.
The first was a shooting in north Greensboro, on Park Avenue,, at approximately 12:33am.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Justin Hobgood, suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Hobgood was taken to Moses Cone for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the suspect, David Jackson, 23, had fired a gun into Hobgood's house.
Jackson was located and arrested. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
The second incident occurred a short time later, at approximately 1:03am; a robbery of a residence on Acorn Road in south Greensboro.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the resident, Wanda Holley. Holley told police that she was awakened when the suspect forced open the front door of her house.
Johnson, 47, ran from the scene but was located by officers a short time later.
Johnson, who lives at an address on Acorn Road, was arrested and charged with 1st degree burglary.
Both incidents are still under investigation.
