Thomasville, NC-- Two men are in jail and a house is off limits to residents after a meth lab was found inside.
Tuesday, the Thomasville Police Dept. Special Operations Unit received information concerning a possible meth lab at a home on Spring St. in Thomasville.
After executing a search on the house, investigator said they found two duffel bags containing materials and chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Police arrested John William Bice, of Thomasville and Eli Benjamin Grubb, of Denton. Both are charged with Possession of Precursor Material for the Manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Bice and Grubb were placed in Davidson County Detention under $50,000.00 bond, with additional charges pending.
The Thomasville Police was assisted by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office and the NC State Bureau of Investigation processed the scene.
The house will be inspected by the Davidson County Health Dept. before residents are allowed to return, according to police.
