Greensboro, NC -- Another victim of Sunday's shooting rampage near Pleasant Garden has died.

15-year-old Makayla Woods was removed from life support at Moses Cone Hospital on Wednesday.  She died around 2:40pm.

Investigators said Woods was shot in the head Sunday morning by Mary Ann Holder, the mother of her boyfriend, Robert 'Dylan' Smith.

Makayla's friends were in and out of the hospital the past four days. None of them wanted this.

They wanted to see their friend live to show off her wonderful smile again.

Now they have to accept a new reality.

"We know she's in a better place and she's not suffering anymore," shared Jessica Ray, a sophomore at Southeast Guilford High School.

Ray said Woods loved to dance. She clogged.

She remembers her as a happy person and a good friend.

Ray and other friends who went to the hospital Wednesday were at a loss for why she was taken away because they say Makayla would never hurt a soul.

"They say you never know what you have until it's gone and now that she's gone and all of our friends are gone we really don't have anything to explain why it happened," explained Daniel Myers, a senior at Southeast Guilford High School.

"She was just so outgoing and fun and everybody was pretty much drawn to her personality because she was always so happy," added Ray.

We also talked to a family member who told us that Ricky Suttles, the lone surviving child in this mass murder.

Ricky who has been listed as critical all this time squeezed a family members hand from his hospital bed.

We don't know if this is a sign of hope, or if it's simply a reflex.

But the family sees it as hope and is asking for everyone's prayers.

We also have a new timeline of what investigators say happened Sunday morning.

Col. Randy Powers with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office said  Mary Ann Holder talked to her former lover, Randal Lamb Sunday morning, and it was after that she shot four children in her home.

Then, Col. Powers says Holder and Lamb met at GTCC's Aviation Center, where Holder shot him in the arm. Investigators believe Holder planned to kill Lamb.

Immediately after that, Holder picked up her son Zachary Smith from his friend's house. Eventually, a deputy caught up to Holder on Remora Drive. She was standing outside her car and the deputy saw a puff of smoke. Investigators believe that's when holder shot Zack in the head before killing herself.

In all four people were shot at Holder's Cocoa Drive home.  Dylan Smith, 17 was pronounced dead at the scene.  Holder's niece Hannaleigh Suttles, 8, died Monday morning.  A nephew, Richard Suttles, 17, is in critical condition at Moses Cone.

Police say that Mary Ann Holder's other son, 15-year-old Zachary "Zack" Smith, was shot by his mom after being picked up at a friend's house.  He died at the hospital Monday night.  All of the children were shot in the head.

Deputies said that Mary Ann Holder shot and killed herself after shooting Zack.

SLIDESHOW: Photos of all the victims and suspect

A sixth victim, Randal 'Randy' Lamb, was shot in the arm by Holder.  He is recovering.  Lamb and Holder were involved in an affair that recently ended according to investigators.

Detectives said that Holder shot Lamb near his work at GTCC Aviation Center Sunday morning.  That shooting lead to the discovery of the rest of the victims.

A search warrant obtained by News 2 on Tuesday revealed that Mary Ann Holder gave Lamb a check for $10,000 made out to his wife Jennifer the day before the shootings.  Investigators believe the check was a 'settlement' to avoid an alienation of affection lawsuit by Jennifer.

Major Tom Sheppard with the Guilford County Sheriff's Department said the Lamb's are not suspects.  He said they are helping to  provide information into the motive for the shootings.
