Sheriff: Homeowner Assaulted By Break-In Suspect

Yadkin County, NC-- Investigators said a homeowner is okay, after being assaulted by a suspect who had broken into his house.

Around 5pm on Wednesday, the Yadkin County Sheriff's office received a report of a Breaking, Entering, & Larceny that had just occured off of Chinquapin Road South of Yadkinville.

The homeowners told deputies they came home and caught one of the suspects coming out of their house. The suspect then assaulted him, before driving off in a car. The victims said they followed the car, got a tag and called 911. 

Officers with Yadkin and Davie County Sheriff's Office worked on the case and identified two suspects in the incident.

Jackie Lee Bledsoe III 22 of Mocksville and Jeffrey Kent Potts Jr. 25 of Mocksville were charged with: Second Degree Burglary, Larceny after Breaking & Entering, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury . Bledsoe is in the Yadkin County Jail with a $75,000.00 Secured bond.

Potts has not been arrested.
