Greensboro, NC -- Every bride has hopes and dreams for the big day. Meleshia Daye is no different.
She has stage 4 breast cancer, but this 24-year-old is determined to live and to walk down the aisle. Battling breast cancer has taken most of her time and money. But Daye isn't going to let that stop her.
Daye applied for her dream wedding with the Wish Upon A Wedding organization. She was told it was take weeks for the application to be processed. But WFMY News2 talked to Wish Upon A Wedding, and on Friday, they surprised her with her wedding wish!

The organization grants wedding wishes and takes care of everything from the wedding planner to the cake to the hair and make-up and much more.
Daye had no family history of breast cancer and no other symptoms, but she had lumps.
"Last year in June, I found a lump in my left breast. The lump was probably about the size of a grape," she said.
Daye went to the doctor with her mother. They went back a few months later and even again shortly after that. Each time, they were assured it was only a cyst, which would go away. It didn't. Instead it spread. You can read more about Meleshia Daye's battle.
