Lexington, NC -- It was out of necessity that Brandi Tysinger Temple came up with the idea of Lolly Wolly Doodle, a business dedicated to children's clothes and accessories. It all started in 2006 after the birth of her youngest child. Temple at the time started looking on-line for classic childrens wear.
To her dismay she really could not find anything she liked, so she had a plan to make it herself. With a few swatches of fabric and some patterns she began to design outfits.
Four years later her creation has a name Lolly Wolly Doodle and a full time staff of 30. The designs come in an array of colors and patterns with sizes up to 14. They also offer personalized monogramming and bows to match.
As for the unique name she credits that to her niece Lolly. "She says what are you going to name your store? I used to always call her Lolly Wolly Doodle and so I was like I don't know Lolly Wolly Doodle, why don't we just name it that and the journey began right there."
