Newton, NC -- The stepmother of a 10-year-old girl whose dismembered remains were found in western North Carolina has been indicted on additional felony charges.

The Hickory Daily Record reports that 42-year-old Elisa Baker was indicted in Catawba County Superior Court Monday on two counts of obtaining property by false pretense.

The indictment says Baker went to Hickory Pawn and Gun last August and pawned a 46-inch television which she didn't own. It also says she went back to the shop about three weeks later and pawned a pressure washer.

Last month, Elisa Baker was indicted on a second-degree murder charge. She has been jailed since the October weekend Zahra disappeared, charged with obstructing justice for writing a fake ransom note that was found when the girl was reported missing.
