Greensboro, NC --  The signs read, 'Keep families together', 'No human is illegal' and 'I have a dream'.

Eric Jonas, the organizer of the rally from Faith Action International, said the rally is all about support, " What we want to do is to call attention and to show people there is support. We don't need to have a protest or anything like that.  What we want to do is just to show that there is support in Greensboro, and the best way to do that is to show our presence."

So the rally was silent.  No chants or loud protests.  Just a long line of people like Lizet Torres, hoping for change, "I hope to stay legal in this country. Not just for a period of time, for a long time."

Torres is a native of Mexico and lives in Greensboro on a work visa.  In a few months, her six year visa will expire.  "I want to stay here more time.  I want a better job and to live here because I like America.  You know, I have family here."  Family like her five year old daughter who is a U.S. citizen.  "I want to stay here for her. USA,  I think that it is better for everybody," says Torres.

Jonas hopes the crowd sends a message to the city, "I hope they realize Greensboro is a multi-cultural city and that we are accepting of everyone. Greensboro really depends on a lot of our neighbors who are here from other countries, whether they be documented or not."
