Greensboro, NC -- Susie, the puppy found burned in a Greensboro park, is closer to finding a new home.
Interviews of the 60 people interested in adopting Susie will begin late this week or early next week.
Shelter leaders and Susie's trainer will visit homes, check vets and discuss susie's training and other needs.
Susie was found in August at Greefield Park with severe burns and other injuries.
Because the flaps of her ears were burned off, she will need to be an inside dog.
Susie will also need sunscreen when she goes outside.
Susie wlil be spayed next week and can then go to her new home.
Shelter leaders say Susie loves to play and needs a family that will keep her active.
