Greensboro, NC -- A suspended Greensboro police officer will face one less charge in the case against him.
Detective Scott Sanders worked as a member of the now-disbanded Special Intelligence Unit. A grand jury indicted him on two charges of obstructing justice, one of conspiring to obstruct justice, and one count of accessing a government computer.
Tuesday, a judge dismissed one the obstruction of justice counts. He said the indictments didn't allege the crime prosecutors charged him with. The other three charges against him are still pending.
