GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A disturbance will track across the area Friday. A cold front will approach and move through the Piedmont Saturday night. High pressure will build over the southeastern U.S. for Sunday and Monday.
Friday will be wet and chilly with periods of light rain or drizzle. The high will be around 40. Friday night we will also see periods of light rain or drizzle with temperatures holding steady around 40. Areas of fog may develop overnight.
Saturday the cold front will approach. A southwesterly wind at 10 to 20 mph drive high temperatures into the low 60s. Showers are likely for Saturday and Saturday night with an isolated thunderstorm possible. Rainfall amounts of .75" to 1.25" are possible between Friday and Saturday night. Rain will end late Saturday night and the sky will clear with a low of 39.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and Monday will be partly sunny. The high Sunday will be 57, and 60 on Monday.
