GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- A man says a robbery suspect pepper sprayed him in the face after he tried to stop a burglary at his house.
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office went to a home Wednesday evening on County Clare Road.
The man told investigators he found two people trying to break in, through the garage, when he came home. He fought with one of the suspects who sprayed him in the face. That person ran away.
However, the suspect didn't get too far. A K-9 team found a juvenile hiding in the bushes near Wayne and Alamance roads.
Officials charged him with Felony Breaking and Entering and Misdemeanor Assault.
Doctors treated the juvenile for a hairline fracture on his ankle.
The sheriff's office is still trying to identify the other suspect involved.
