Suspects Arrested In Craigslist Robbery At McDonald's

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro police arrested two people after a Craigslist robbery at a McDonald's.

The incident happened Thursday evening at the restaurant in the 3600 block of High Point Road.

Someone was trying to sell a cellphone they advertised on Craigslist. Police said Qwanelle Ruffin took the phone and left in a vehicle driven by Keyerra Johnson.

A police spokesperson said the victim tried to stop them and Johnson drove toward the person.

Officers arrested Ruffin and Johnson shortly after investigating. Officials charged both of them with Common Law Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. Johnson is additionally charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Police say there were about 12 Craigslist robberies this year in Greensboro.
