Election Coverage For Triad Municipal Elections On WFMY News 2

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Election officials in Guilford County are expecting less than 20-percent voter turnout for the municipal elections on Tuesday. 

Guilford County Board of Elections Director Charlie Collicutt said 20-percent voter turnout would be considered "high." 

In Forsyth County, the BOE director expects voter turnout to be only 10-percent in Winston-Salem. Robert Coffman predicts 20-percent voter turnout in cities like Clemmons and Kernersville.

The polls close at 7:30 p.m. Collicutt says results should be in by 9:30 p.m.
