GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A strong cold front is moving across the Piedmont and could bring severe weather to parts of our state Friday.
Widespread showers with isolated thunderstorms are possible with this weather system. Most of the possible severe weather with the front will be in the eastern parts of our state but we will be monitoring the front for any straight line winds or tornado activity.
The primary threat will be damaging winds for the Triad and Piedmont region. By 10 p.m., the front should be to the east of our area.
