WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- If you live in the western part on Winston-Salem, there's a chance you'll see some discolored water Tuesday.
The city's utility division is putting a 10 million gallon service tank back in service. This change in water flow in the distribution system could lead to red, brown, or yellow colored water.
Potential areas that could be affected are west of Stratford Road to Reynolds Road. Those who live in the southwest, west and northwest wards could also be affected.
Water lines will be flushed to reduce the discoloration.
