Delivery Driver Robbed Of Money, Phone, Pizzas

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-- Police in Winston-Salem are investigating a robbery of a pizza delivery driver that happened Monday night.

Officers were dispatched around 11:17 p.m. to an armed robbery call  in the 300 block of Alspaugh Street. Quashan Young told officers he was making a pizza delivery to an address on the street but found the place vacant.  He reported that he saw someone standing on the sidewalk and another person sitting on the porch.

At that point, Young said the person on the porch pulled a gun and demanded his cell phone, money and pizzas. The second suspect approached him from behind and pointed a pistol at his back, the victim stated. 

The suspects, both males, ran south on Alspaugh Street, toward Indiana Avenue, Officers said.
