Greensboro Voters Will Decide Who Moves On In Mayoral Race, City Council Seats For November

Voters have their opportunity Tuesday to decide who will be the final candidates for Greensboro's Mayoral race and who will and city council seats. It's the city's primary election day.

In Greensboro, that includes voting for Mayor, City Council At-Large, and City Council in districts 1, 3, 4, and 5.

Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

WFMY News 2 took a closer look at campaign spending so far in the Mayoral Race.

  • Current Mayor Robbie Perkins has raised more than $68,000 and spent more than $65,000.

  •  Nancy Vaughnhas raised more than $35,000 but has only spent about $13,000

  • George Hartzman has raised less than $1,000 so he doesn't have to file.

  • All city council seats are on the ballot for this Primary.

Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
