HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The president of High Point Regional Health, Jeffrey S. Miller, announced Wednesday he plans to retire.
Miller has been the president of the health care organization for 25 years.
"It has truly been an honor to have served our community in this capacity and to have participated in the exciting growth and development of High Point Regional over the years," Miller said in a statement. "While my tenure at High Point Regional will be ending, my commitment to this organization and community will not. I will continue to reside in High Point and remain an active contributor to this great organization."
No information was released about when Miller's last day will be.
High Point Regional Health is a member of UNC Health Care. They serve more than 120,000 patients throughout six locations.
