GREENSBORO - Cone Health is testing an old method to get new results for women facing breast cancer.

"Derma Therapy" sheets are normally used to help patients with bedsores. They move moisture away from you while you sleep.

Cone is testing them to see if they will keep the women dry when they're sweating from hot flashes.

"It feels like you just cannot get cool," breast cancer patient Janice Rogers said. "And then after the hot flash passes, then your body is wet from the perspiration and then, so you become extremely cold."

The hope is fewer hot flashes will equal more rest for women who need it most.
