Triad -- The hot weather you missed this summer is getting another chance this week.
A cold front will move through the Piedmont tonight. Just don't expect a cool down. The high on Sunday was 87, and the high on Monday will be about the same. There won't even be a great rain chance with this front.
Oddly enough, it will get warmer after the front clears the area. By Tuesday, we could hit the upper 80s and remain there through Thursday. Skies will be sunny to partly cloudy.
Another cold front will take a shot at cooling us down by the end of the week. A front will move through Thursday night or Friday morning and bring about a 30% chance of a shower. The bigger change will come in the temperature department. Highs will scale back to the low 80s on Friday and we could spend next weekend in the mid 70s.
