Gibsonville, NC -- A local group honored a man who drowned in a fishing accident by teaching others water safety Saturday.
Members of the Casville Youth Initiative hosted a "Swimnic," an event that combined CPR training with swimming lessons and a picnic.
The event was meant to be a memorial for Joshua Hardy, who drowned while fishing at a Yanceyville farm pond in April.
