Gibsonville, NC-- Police in Gibsonville said a store clerk's death is no longer an unsolved crime. Friday night officers announced that an arrest was made in the death of store clerk, Paresh Shah.
Officers said Shah was killed on July 20 in a failed attempted robbery at Ken's Quickie Mart. Takila Valencia Morris, 30 is the person who detectives say shot and killed him.
Morris is charged with:
- First Degree Murder
- Attempted Armed Robbery
Family and friends in the Gibsonville community had a prayer vigil to remember Paresh Shah, days after his death.
His wife told WFMY News 2 that he loved every customer.
