Burlington Store Robbed, Workers' Hands Tied

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Police in Burlington are looking for two men who they say robbed a store and tied up two workers Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to USA Pawn on North Church Street after the panic alarm was activated. The owner of the store and an employee were found with their hands tied behind their backs. K-9 officers were used to clear the building.

The store owner was assaulted during the robbery. Police said his injuries appeared to be minor.

The suspects were described to police as two Hispanic men. One of them is in his mid- to late 40s; he has short hair and a thin mustache. The other man is in his late 20s or early 30s; he has a "chinstrap" style beard.

Police are investigating this incident and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (336) 229-7100.
