The parents of a teenager in Fayetteville who died after football practice have no idea what happened.

Sixteen-year-old, Evan Raines died after football practice Saturday. He was a junior at Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville.

Raines' parents said Sunday that their son had passed two physical examinations prior to the beginning of practice. They told WRAL he had no health issues or history of heart problems.

Friends and family say the 6'1'', 210 lbs. defensive loved football and showed tremendous potential. His dream was to play for the University of Alabama and then in the NFL.
