GREENSBORO, N.C. -- HomeGoods is coming to the New Garden Crossing shopping center in Greensboro.
The Triad Business Journal reports that construction has begun on the 20,887-square-foot store and should be completed in January. They anticipate the store will open at the beginning of March.
Several new stores have opened within the last year in the shopping center, including Marshalls and Dollar Tree. Lowes Foods was also recently remodeled.
The Journal says HomeGoods is slated to open beside the Marshalls - both stores are owned by the same company, TJX Cos. Inc.
According to HomeGoods' website, this is the first store to open in Greensboro; there is already a store in High Point and Winston-Salem.
