GREENSBORO - Two million calls and counting! On Monday morning, someone called the City of Greensboro Contact Center to request garbage and recycling cans and became the two millionth caller.
This center was created so residents can request city services and get fast, accurate responses.
Every day, more than eleven hundred calls are made regarding water bills, road repairs trash collection, code enforcements and parking tickets.
Nearly 400 thousand calls have been made regarding water bill balances and payments. Nearly 130-thousand other calls have been to the non-emergency line for the Greensboro Police.
Over 40 thousand callers needed information on parks and recreation facilities or services.
