Greensboro, NC -- A Food Lion in Greensboro was robbed Monday night, the second robbery of that grocery store chain in about a week.

Police said they were called to the store on Drawbridge Parkway around 10:50 pm. An employee told police two black men about 5'6" tall came into the store with guns. Police said the men stole cash and ran out the front door.

The two men were described as teenagers, or people in their twenties. Both men wore dark clothing and covered their faces.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Police told WFMY News 2 they are investigating this robbery in connection to a Greensboro Food Lion that was robbed Sunday, July 7 because there are enough similarities between the two.

However, investigators said there was not enough evidence to possible connect these robberies with a string of Harris Teeter robberies in Greensboro and other Triad cities.
