Triad -- Do you feel like the weather forecast is a broken record? Most days have been about the same for two weeks. It looks like we will make that three weeks.
Our unsettled pattern is very hard to break out of. The wind continues to pull out of the south and bring in an overabundance of moisture. As a result, we have had an overabundance of rain. The week ahead looks no different.
Monday will be mainly cloudy with a high in the mid 80s and a 50% chance of rain. There could be a shower at any time. The best chance of a thunderstorm will be in the typical afternoon to evening time frame.
The rain chance drops a tad on Tuesday and Wednesday. We may also see a little more sun. The trade off is that temps will return to the upper 80s. Plus, there is still a 40% chance of rain.
By Thursday and through the weekend, rain chances will be between 50% and 70%. Highs will range in the low 80s.
