Ebony Nyiesha Franklin Of Greensboro Charged In Kenneth Clapp's Murder In Alamance County

Alamance County, NC-- Detectives in Alamance County have charged a woman in connection with a murder. The charges are related to an investigation that started in March, after the discovery of a man's body.

Deputies Identify Alamance County Homicide Victim, Kenneth Joel Clapp

On March 29, investigators were alerted to a body on some property on Louis Graham Road in northern Alamance County. Officers didn't learn the identity of the victim until days later when they released a composite. The body was identified as Kenneth Clapp.

Expert: Investigators Are Looking For Other Clues To ID Body

Thursday, June 27, 29-year-old Ebony Nyiesha Franklin of Greensboro was charged in connection to the murder of the victim. She was charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder relating to the Clapp's death.

Franklin's arrest is the fifth in the case. Four other persons, Cameron Romero Graves and Marteese Rasheed Martin have been charged with First Degree Murder. Solomon Gerard Tate and Phillip Jerome Tate have been charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder.

Deputies: 2 Additional Suspects Arrested In Burlington Murder

According to detectives, Franklin is reportedly the girlfriend of Cameron Graves. She was placed in the Alamance County Detention center under a secured bond of $70,000 pending her first appearance in Alamance County District Court.
