Greensboro--Many dads have outdoor plans with family and friends this weekend. It looks like the weather will not be an issue as a rather quiet weather pattern continues.
High pressure is center over Ohio and will bring lots of sunshine and pleasant conditions to the area. the high temperatures this afternoon will be 83. Since the air is rather dry for this time of year, it will feel very comfortable.
As the high pressure move off the East Coast, surface winds will become south and southwesterly by late Sunday and Monday. this will cause moisture to gradually build back over the Piedmont.
There will be a 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms on Monday and a 40's chance on Tuesday.
High temperatures will be in the mid 80's Monday through Wednesday.
