Winston-Salem, NC -- Regardless of where it happens, when disaster strikes people of races, religions and culture pull together.
A Winston-Salem church offered the opportunity to reach out to the victims of the tornado destruction in Oklahoma through prayer. St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Summit St in Winston-Salem is held a special worship service Wednesday evening.
The church released this information about the service: "as people of faith, we can do a number of things, the most important of which are to offer our prayers to God and to support those agencies giving disaster relief."
All donations from the service will be directed to Episcopal Relief and Development for their work on our behalf to support the victims.
