Guilford County, NC -- The entire teaching staff in Allen Middle School will be changed by the end of the school year, according to officials with the Guilford County Schools system.
The district is calling the change "reconstitution." These changes have been made before in under-performing schools; however, GCS officials have not confirmed the reason at Allen Middle.
The transformation at the school will start the next school year, according to the district. It also reveals the staff will be given the choice to either re-apply to remain at the school, or if the employee is in good standing, they can choose to transfer to another school in the district.
This is not the first time the district has instituted such a change.
Oak Hill Elementary underwent reconstitution in recent years because they were on the state's federal reform list.
