Winston-Salem, NC -- First responders were called to the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Winston-Salem early Thursday afternoon after a truck collided into the side of the building facing North Marshall Street.
An eyewitness told WFMY News 2 a car hit a pickup truck, which redirected the truck off the road and into the side of the building. The truck was stopped perpendicular to the building, beside stairs on the side of the church at 301 N. Marshall St.
A WFMY News 2 staff member observed the driver of the pickup truck was being treated in the vehicle by EMS workers.
Police were unable to comment because they are in the early stages of their investigation.
