Clemmons, NC - The Clemmons Medical Center opened on Wednesday morning, providing a new medical center for the Triad and also offering new innovations in healthcare services.
The medical center features a no-wait emergency department model, a model that was demonstrated on News 2's Good Morning Show.
The Medical Center also has an out-patient surgery center and comprehensive imaging services, including CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds and MRI's.
During construction of the center, $9 million was spent on the surrounding neighborhood that included building greenways, walking trails, and a new dam for Reynolds Pond.
The 38,000 square foot facility employs more than 100 people and is a part of the new Village Point development in Clemmons.
