Greensboro, NC -- Colder than normal temperatures remain across the Triad and as temperatures drop overnight Tuesday a concern for frost will grow.

The normal low temperatures in the Triad during the first week of April is in the middle 40s. Tuesday night temperatures will drop into the mid and low 30s. Rural and low laying areas will experience the coldest temperatures and will possess the greatest chance of seeing frost.

The frost will not be widespread, but a few Triad counties are included in a Frost Advisory until 8 am Wednesday morning. Alamance, Davie, Forsyth and Guilford County are all included in the Frost Advisory.

A Frost Advisory means that the development of frost is possible and that sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged if left outdoors or uncovered.
