Clemmons, NC -- Firefighters are always coming to the rescue, even when they're off duty.
On Saturday, members of the Winston-Salem Professional Fire Fighters Association teamed up to go bald for a reason. The fire crews lined up to get their heads shaved one by one. The real life heroes are teaming up with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money for kids fighting cancer.
About 30 firefighters and members of the community are hoping to raise over thirty thousand dollars for cancer research . You can help donate to the cause by going to the Winston-Salem Professional Fire Fighters Facebook page.
