Greensboro, NC -- The Greensboro City Council voted to allow the Greensboro Coliseum to purchase a two-acre piece of land to use for additional parking in Tuesday's meeting.
The council voted unanimously to approve the sale of the land at 2210, 2220, and 2222 High Point Rd. for $1.4 million.
The money comes from a $24 million fund authorized to make improvements to the Coliseum.
The parking lot will replace an old facility for tent manufacturer Puckett Property.
