Greensboro, NC -- Thursday night, we introduced you to Albert Freeman. He was at the ACC tournament just two days, 48 hours, after hip surgery!
He said nothing was going to stop him from supporting his Tar Heels. And as they played their first game of the tournament, we caught up with him as he did what he set out to do.
Freeman said, "When you bleed Carolina blue you gotta go all the way with it."
He's experiencing this tournament in a wheelchair, with friends and family helping him get around. He said there about 15 or 16 people in his group. Freeman said, "We'll be here for the whole thing, trying to root them on." He added, "Once a Tar Heel fan, you're always a Tar Heel fan."
