Greensboro, NC-- Wednesday, North State Flexibles announced it is expanding operations in Guilford County, which also means more jobs.
According to a news release from Greensboro Economic Development Alliance, North State Flexibles is a vertically integrated manufacturer of flexible packaging. The company produces the packaging and labeling for products, such as diapers, pet food, bread, beauty care products, and other products contained in flexible packaging.
The company's expansion includes the creation of 41 new jobs, and an investment of more than $6 million over the next three years.
This expansion was made possible, in part, by incentives from the City of Greensboro, Guilford County, and the State of North Carolina's "One NC Fund." The One NC Fund incentive is provided when local, matching funds are committed, and all incentives are performance-based, contingent on the company achieving growth targets.
"North State Flexibles is a family-owned business, with a long history in Guilford County," comments Robin Rhyne, Vice President at the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance, "It is a delight to see the company continue to adapt, expand, and build a bright future for themselves, their employees, and our community."
North State Flexibles is a subsidiary of St. Johns Packaging, and has been in business in Guilford County since 1947.
