Greensboro, NC -- The Guilford County Sheriff's Office traded in badges for swimsuits Saturday to raise money for the North Carolina Special Olympics.

In the 13th annual Polar Plunge, deputies and community members raised thousands to help the organization Saturday.

One group, Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co., LLP, raised more than $13,000 on its own!

With pretty cold temperatures around the time of the icy dip, swimmers truly sacrificed for the organization.

WFMY News 2 was there Saturday when swimmers took the plunge. Tune in tonight to find out how much money this year's event raised!
