Burlington, NC - A disturbance at a B-Town Bikers event led to two arrests and one person air lifted to UNC Hospital.
Police said shortly after 10:30 pm Sunday the people who were arrested attempted to leave the "disturbance" in the B-Town Bikers parking lot and hit a woman with their car and kept driving. The driver ran over her legs and she was later transported by helicopter to UNC Hospital. She was listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses described the car to police and they were able to stop it on N. Church St. near Beaumont Ave. The driver, Vincent Price, Jr. from Salisbury, was charged with Felony Hit And Run, Driving Without A License and Driving The Wrong Way On A One Way Street. Police said he was also wanted for two unrelated outstanding warrants. Darris Carter, a passenger in the vehicle, was also arrested for unrelated warrants. A cell phone that was reported stolen at the event was also found in the car by police.
Police said the woman taken to the hospital showed up to the event in the car that hit her.
