Winston-Salem, NC - One of the suspects in last week's Akron Market robbery has been arrested.
Lawrence Steven Butler was arrested Monday night for attempting to rob the store a second time.
Police said they were called to the robbery around 9:30 pm Monday. The clerk told them that the man who just robbed them was one of the two suspects from the robbery on January 20, 2013.
A K-9 unit found Butler near Akron Dr. and Ogburn Ave. The clerk confirmed that Butler was the person who robbed the store both times.
Police found cash and marijuana on Butler and charged him with Common Law Robbery, Possession With Intent To Sell Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was placed into the LEDC under a $25,000 secured bond.
