Greensboro--After a brief snow event Thursday night. Temperatures are set to warm a bit this weekend. Highs today will be near 50, but Sunday we will warm into the upper 50's.

The warm up will be short lived. A blast of Arctic air will move onto the northern Plains tonight and Sunday. It will reach the Piedmont Tuesday.

The air mass is so cold, high temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will only reach near freezing. By Wednesday morning temperatures will be in the teens.

A brisk northwesterly wind will produce wind chills in the 20's on Tuesday and Wednesday and in the single digits Wednesday morning.

After a very wet week last week, it should be dry over the next seven days.

Our normal high temperatures is 48 and our normal low is 29.
