Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro Fire Department investigators are still trying to figure out what caused this massive fire Friday afternoon.
It started a little before four o'clock, at the Southeast Church Furniture building in Greensboro.
It took 16 fire crews and a couple of hours to get the fire under control.
We went back out there Saturday. Investigators are now trying to figure out where the fire started, but they say they won't be able to tell us anything for several days.
The company makes and refinishes church pews and chairs. We talked to the owner Saturday. He told us the building is a total loss.
"We have another warehouse and, Lord willing, Monday morning we will be up and running again and not miss a beat. We want to let our customers know we are going to service them because churches are very important, and we are gonna take care of all of our customers," said Tommy Adams, Southeast Church Furniture Owner.
No one was working in the building when the fire started, and no one was hurt. The plant manager said employees had already left for the day.
