Greensboro, NC -- Fire investigators say they will investigate a two-alarm fire at a Greensboro furniture factory Saturday.
The fire at Southeast Church Furniture facility started Friday afternoon, and investigators say the cause is still unclear. In a news release, Deputy Chief Clarence Hunter said there is currently no estimate for when the cause will be determined.
Several fire crews were on the scene of the fire at 808 N. Raleigh St. after receiving the initial call at 3:48 p.m.
No one was inside at the time of the fire because the plant usually closes early on Fridays.
Hunter said the fire was out and under control by about 6 p.m., and crews continued to monitor the scene throughout the night.
