Eden, NC -- Eden Police charged two men from Ridgeway, Virginia related to a shooting early Wednesday morning.
Eden Police responded to the area of Elam Avenue and Johnsie Billie Harris Street around 1:40, after getting calls about gun shots fired in the area.
Police say 19-year-old Tyler Clifton shot Andrew Davidson, fired several shots into a truck driven by Randy Lee Tuggle, Jr. and then drove away. Crews transported Davidson to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Tuggle chased after the car, with Clifton and 46-year-old Michael Wright inside. Tuggle rammed the car, causing extensive damage and shattering the rear window. Tuggle continued to push the car south on Johnsie Billie Harris Street.
Clifton and Wright fired multiple shots out of rear window from two separate guns, hitting the truck in the windshield and hood, before Tuggle drove away.
Police found Clifton, Wright and the car's driver, Ashley Wells at a convenience store on Virginia Street.
Police charged Clifton with one count of Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill and one count of Felony Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Conveyance while in motion. Clifton received a $75,000 bond and was taken to the Rockingham County Jail. He's scheduled to appear in district court January 29.
Police charged Wright with one count of Felony Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Conveyance while in motion. Wright received a $50,000 bond and was taken to the Rockingham County Jail. He's scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 29.
